What do acrobat ants look like? 

Acrobat ants are named for their acrobatic movement of raising their heart-shaped abdomens over their heads when disturbed. They may also emit a foul-smelling odor, so be cautious when disturbing them! These ants are small in size and can range from black to yellowish-brown in color, and some may even be multi-colored.

What do acrobat ants eat?

They primarily feed on other insects, mealybugs, and honeydew produced by aphids. 

How do acrobat ants get inside?

When the weather gets too hot or dry, they may enter homes in search of food. 

They can gain access through electrical lines, telephone lines, or tree limbs that make contact with the outside of homes. Once inside, acrobat ants tend to nest in wall voids, behind baseboards, door and window frames, or in insulation, especially if there's moisture or water damage.
